Some days on the water are pure summer magic — and this family flotilla day cruise in Chalkidiki was exactly that.

We welcomed 16 guests from Germany, many of them children, for a private day cruise from Porto Carras. With such a lively crew on board, one yacht wasn’t enough — so we organized a second boat and created a small flotilla, sailing together in formation along the stunning coastline of Sithonia and the Toronean Gulf.

Cruising side by side, the two yachts made their way from one beautiful anchorage to the next, discovering hidden coves, turquoise water, and quiet beaches only accessible by boat. For the kids, every stop felt like a new adventure.

At anchor, we tied both boats alongside each other, transforming them into one large floating platform — the perfect playground at sea. Soon the water toys, SUP boards, and swim ladders were in constant use. Laughter, splashing, and happy shouts filled the air while parents relaxed in the sun and enjoyed the peaceful scenery.

It was exactly what a family sailing day in Chalkidiki should be: safe, relaxed, and full of simple summer joy.

In the late afternoon, we raised anchor and sailed back together toward Porto Carras Marina, tired and sun-kissed after a full day in the water. Back at the resort, dinner was already waiting at the Meliton Hotel, the perfect ending to a wonderful day at sea.

Two boats. One flotilla. Endless memories.
